Lately my kids have been surprising me by unloading the dish washer. Dakota does the bottom ones and Brielle does the top ones. They are always so excited when I walk in and see them! I took a picture of them the one time and hung it on the fridge, now every time they do it they want me to take their pictures, and Brielle told me I needed to put the pictures on my blog, and write Good Babies and the top!
The other day after the rain a really pretty rainbow came out, so we decided to go out and enjoy it! 
It's always an exciting thing for a kid to see a rainbow, so the frist thing Brielle and Dakota did was run down to have grandma and grandpa come out and see it!
This was a big moment at our house, Dakota found his first horn!!!! He was out hiking with Mike when he found it, it was so funny listening to him tell the story about it. He has obviously been listening to his dad come home after he finds a horn and tell me every detail about how he found it, becuase that is what he did. He told me it was in a spot that used to be a creek but the water was gone, and at first he thought it was a stick, and then he realized it was a horn and on and on.......
Madison is 9 months!
Her personality is really starting to come out. She says dada and baba, and latetly when I sing to her she tries to sing back. She is finally growing she didn't gain a pound from 4 months to 7 months and we were a little worried, but she is starting to get chubby now.

I took this picture on our back porch the other night, I thought the sunset was beautiful, and it was one of those moments that just make me so thankful for where I live. Mike and I had our 6th Anniversary this month. Im am so thankful to be married to him, it gets better every day. He is a great husband and father.
Mikes birthday was Jan 12. he turned the big 31! We celebrated by having both our families over for cake and ice cream.
Brielle is in a different dress every day, and she asked me to take a picture of her and her barbie dancing.
Madison is getting big too fast! She is 6 1/2 months. We love watching her smile and laugh, I think a babies laugh is the best sound in the world.
Koda is finally getting the potty training thing down, I am so relieved! He went into primary this month, I still feel like he is to little to be in there. 
My moms family had a girls bonco party today, and while I was gone Mike and the kids made our family into snowmen and had hot chocolate.
Every year in December the Blads go to the family cabin for a Christmas pary, it is so much fun!! The adults all do a white elephant and the kids all do one too this is the kids opening their presents.
This picture is out of order, but it is Thanksgiving morning when we got our Christmas tree.
This is the kids making gingerbread houses, Dakota kept asking all weekend when we were going to make them, he remembered doing them last year and couldn't wait to do it agian.
This is how Dakota rode the swing it was way too high for him to go by himself.
We have a pond at the cabin that you can fish out of and swim in during the summer, and is perfect for ice skating in the winter.
We had a really good time, we ate lots of good food, and made some more really good memories!
