Madisons Shadow

Its so fun to see babies discover new things, this was the day Madison discovered her shadow.

She was walking by and noticed her shadow, she stayed there for the longest time looking at it, she kept pointing at it and she would watch it while she walked away. It was very fascinating to her.

Brielle was a DraMa KiTty!!

Dakota was a BYU Football Player

He was #32 ( Mikes number in high school)

And Madison was a princess

The night started off with a SpOoKy dinner at Grandma Jacksons.

We had witches brew with spiders frozen in the ice cubes

Oreo eyeballs

Mummy hotdogs

Monster mouths ( apples with slivered almonds for teeth)

Witches broom (pretzels with fruit by the foot cut like broom bristles)

Chips and salsa

Carmel apples and Jello Jigglers cut in Halloween shapes

We decorated the basement with Halloween decorations

The kids didnt get to watch us decorate so they were excited to come down stairs and see the suprise

Next we went to the church for trunck or treating

Grandma was a ghost and grandpa was Zorro

And we finished the night by riding on a flat bed trailer with straw around Fillmore and going trick or treating. Our kids had a blast!!! I Love Halloween!!!

Thriller!!!

Brielle is in dance this year and her dance group performed Thriller at the Norh Park. Great Job Brielle!!!

Fall

Mike took these pretty Fall pictures when he was up Kanosh canyon on one of his many trips that he makes up the canyon this time of year.

Mike in Wyoming

This year Mike went deer hunting in Wyoming with my dad, Shawn, Brandon, My uncle Bill, Jason Bullock, Joe Ashman, and Milt Lawhorn. He looks forward to this every year, he has to put in for the hunt in January and he finds out if he drew out in July, so from January to July all we hear is " I hope I draw out for Wyoming" and from July to September all we hear is "I can't wait to go to Wyoming"  He seems more excited about it than a kid is at Christmas its so funny! He loves the country up there as you can see from all the pictures it is really beautiful! There are bears, wolves, moose, deer, and elk. This year he went up for a week. While he was up there he met a guy who was moose hunting, and helped him find a moose, and packed it out with our horses for them. He also met a hermit guy who lived up in the mountains and lived completely off the land, he really had fun visiting with that guy, if Mike wasn't diabetic he would probably try doing that himself! They made a base camp where most of the guys stayed, but for a couple of the days Mike and Shawn rode up farther on the horses and camped.

This is the big one he shot this year!!!!

Little Cowgirl!!

One of Madisons favorite words is Yee-Haw!!! She walks around saying it all the time.

Yellowstone

My family all went to Yellowstone at the first of September for our family reunion. Mikes uncle has a really nice cabin right outside of Yellowstone that we stayed in, I would post pictures of it but I dropped and broke my camera when we were in the park and I was running to get a good picture of a bull elk so I couldnt take any pictures at the cabin, and I dont have any pictures of the elk either. We were there for 4 days and we went into the park 2 of the days. The kids were pretty good especially for being in the car for so long, Yellowstone is so beautiful! We saw a bear, a bull elk way close up and he was really putting on a show for us, deer, lots of buffalo, and lots of other animals too.

Bella, Brielle, and Dakota

Me, Madison, and Mike ( the wind was really blowing and it was blowing my shirt I promise im not prego)

Dakota, Brielle, and Kaidence

Old faithful

This is the baby bear we saw, it was kind of annoying because there was a ranger there and he would not even let you stop and watch him.

We stopped at a lot of the mud pots and the kids thought they were pretty cool especially the one that sounds like a dragon!

HAPPY BIRTHDAY DAKOTA!!!!!!!

Dakota turned 4 on August 31st so we had a birthday party for him at the north park with our family.

He got tons of trucks and tractors for his gifts and he loved that!!

He had a bulldozer pinata that he thought was super cool

And the dump truck cake that I made him with construction cone candles

We love having Koda in our family! He is definately all boy, he loves sports, hunting, horses, big trucks and tractors. He likes to be a good big brother and help with Maddy, he is going to preschool and he loves his teacher Miss. Guillette.
